Tufi

Argentinian DJ/producer and sound engineer based in Berlin.

Tufi’s music lives in liminal spaces, mapping out the murky zones between genres and geographies.

His track ‘Southcore’ was a hallmark at the beginning of the hype around the so-called ‘Latin-tech’ genre, reaching a vast number of plays by DJ’s in mixes and at festivals all around the globe.

Moving away from the classic formula of mixing club sounds such as techno/rave with references to popular Latin music like cumbia and reggaeton, he found himself releasing tracks on compilations for labels such as MAJIA, Angels Gun Club, Cuntry Club and Parkingstone pushing the limits of this sound.

This phase culminated with his EP "Arraigo," released on Modeselektor's SSPB label, including a remix by Lechuga Zafiro. He further expanded his range by releasing a collaborative EP with experimental sound artist Digitonica on Taiwan's OverMyBody label. His next endeavor is to release another collaborative project with colleague Oliver Torr on Klahrk's WARE label and prepare to present his first live set featuring all original productions;

His new live set, ‘tied -w- wire’, distills past, present, and future into a raw, genre-blurring
experience. Built from his own productions, it channels murky rhythms, club sounds, and
ethereal textures into a hypnotic, high-intensity performance.

As a DJ, he’s been playing since he moved to Europe, performing at various clubs and festivals in cities such as London, Prague, Barcelona, Warsaw, Athens, Ljubljana, Berlin and recording sets for radio stations such as Rinse FM , Ola Radio, Retreat Radio to name a few.
